Barney is a lovely young dog who does not have much time left. He is in the public shelter and the dogs have only 60 days to be adopted before they are killed. Barney's death date is 22.01.14 so he is in desperate need of a home before his time is up. He is a stunning chap who will look even better after a trim.
Barney may have escaped a miserable existence with starvation, cruelty and danger on the street when taken to the public shelter but life in the pound is horrific by any standard. The food is given very sparingly, fights are frequent and care and love are non-existent apart from when the volunteers visit to feed the dogs. They get them ready to travel and promote them in the hope they are adopted.
Barney is a full grown small sized dog of 11 kgs. He is a happy and friendly boy who will make a wonderful family member and companion. He is great with people and other dogs. Please get in touch urgently if you can offer Barney a home, he hasn't much time left and deserves to live.
